The ceremony and reception will take place on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Paikka in Saint Paul, Minnesota at 4:30 pm.
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive by 4:15 pm to be seated before the ceremony begins.
Is there parking at Paikka?
Yes! There is a parking lot adjacent to the venue. We recommend arriving a little early to allow time for parking. If needed, you can also keep your car overnight.
What is the dress code?
We kindly request formal attire. Since Minnesota winters can be chilly, don’t forget your coat—there will be a coat check inside.
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors?
Yes, both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors at Paikka. We will also have a place to hang your coats.
Are children invited?
While we love kids, this event will be restricted to those who are at least 21 years old.
Is there transportation provided?
Transportation will not be provided—please plan accordingly.
Where should I stay?
We have reserved a hotel block at The Graduate Hotel. Please mention the Kuzmin/Mertens wedding or use this link when booking to receive the group rate. You can also find more information about hotels on our travel page.
Will dinner be served?
Yes! Dinner and drinks will be provided, followed by dessert and dancing.
There's no meat on your menu. Are you guys hippies now or something?
No, but we firmly bellieve that not every meal needs to have an animal in it. Give the food a chance and we think you'll be delighted with what our award-winning vendor has to offer!
